Your Bespoke
Herbal Care
An individual approach to herbal formulation
Each formula is prepared according to your individual presentation and will be adjusted over time.
How bespoke herbal care works
Chinese Herbal Medicine uses carefully combined natural herbs to support the body’s natural balance and regulation.
Each herbal combination is created according to your individual presentation, which means no two formulas are ever the same.
At Chemin Holistique, every herbal formula is bespoke.
I take time to understand your health history, lifestyle, and current situation, then prepare a formula that reflects your unique pattern.
As your body and circumstances change, your herbal care will be gently adjusted over time.
What is Chinese
Herbal Medicine?
A long-established tradition that takes a whole-person approach to care
Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM) is a long-established tradition that remains part of everyday healthcare in China.
It is often used alongside Western medicine within an integrated approach to wellbeing.
At its core, CHM uses carefully selected herbs in combination to support internal balance and resilience, and continues to be explored within modern healthcare.
What makes this approach distinctive is its whole-person perspective.
How assessment may take place
Rather than focusing only on isolated symptoms, Chinese medicine considers lifestyle, diet, emotional health, work, environment, and daily habits.
Assessment is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and may include:
-
detailed discussion
-
pulse reading
-
observation of the tongue
Chinese Herbal Medicine is a complementary, non-medical approach and does not replace conventional medical care.

What Can We Explore During Your Consultation?
Every consultation begins with understanding your individual concerns, health history, and lifestyle through the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
People seek Chinese herbal consultations for a variety of reasons, including:

Digestive Wellbeing
Chinese Herbal Medicine is often explored in relation to digestion, appetite, bloating, and daily eating patterns. Your consultation considers not only symptoms, but also habits, constitution, and the wider context of your wellbeing. A Chinese medicine consultation considers these experiences within the wider context of the individual.

Energy & Vitality
Chinese Herbal Medicine is often explored in relation to menstrual health, life transitions, and menopause. Each consultation is tailored to the individual and considers your wider health picture with care.
Musculoskeletal Wellbeing
Chinese Herbal Medicine is often explored in relation to digestion, appetite, bloating, and daily eating patterns. Your consultation considers not only symptoms, but also habits, constitution, and the wider context of your wellbeing.
Sleep & Rest
Sleep quality, restfulness, and daily rhythms are common topics in consultation. A Chinese medicine approach looks at how lifestyle, patterns, and overall balance may relate to your experience.

Women's Wellbeing
Chinese Herbal Medicine is often explored in relation to menstrual health, life transitions, and menopause. Each consultation is tailored to the individual and considers your wider health picture with care.

Healthy Ageing & Life Transitions
Changes in energy, sleep, and general wellbeing can become more noticeable at different stages of life. Consultations offer space to explore these changes from a whole-person perspective.
Stress & Emotional Wellbeing
Emotional balance and the effects of stress are important parts of whole-person care. Consultations may explore how tension, mood, and daily pressures fit within a broader Chinese medicine perspective.
Respiratory & Seasonal Wellbeing
Seasonal sensitivities, breathing-related concerns, and changes throughout the year may be discussed during consultation. Individual history, environment, and lifestyle are considered alongside traditional Chinese medicine principles.
What to Expect
Changes are often gradual and unfold over days or weeks.
The intention is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to support the body’s internal balance over time.
As your system adjusts, you may notice subtle shifts in digestion, energy, or sleep.
Adjustments to your herbal formula are a normal part of personalised care.

If I feel that medical assessment would be appropriate, I may suggest contacting your GP or another healthcare professional.

When to Pause or Stop Your Herbs
Please pause your herbs and contact me if you:
-
Develop an acute illness (such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhoea)
-
Experience signs of an allergic-type reaction

Become pregnant or begin breastfeeding
Mild, short-lived responses — such as slight digestive changes or temporary tiredness — can sometimes occur as the body adjusts.
If symptoms feel strong, unusual, or concerning, please seek medical care promptly.
Payment & Transparency
Consultation fees and herbal formulas are billed separately.
The consultation fee is paid directly to Chemin Holistique and includes your consultation, assessment, and the preparation of your personalised herbal formula.
Herbal formulas are paid directly to the supplier. As a guide, a 4-week formula usually costs around €65–€80 plus postage for clients in Europe, or £30–£45 plus postage for clients in the UK.
The final cost may vary depending on the formula, dosage, supplier pricing, packaging, and delivery location.
Language Availability
Chinese herbal medicine consultations are currently available in English and Japanese only.
Due to the complexity and personalised nature of herbal care, consultations are offered in languages in which clear communication can be ensured.
Consultations in French will be introduced once my professional French level is sufficient to support safe and accurate care.
