A 30–45 minute in-person herbal consultation to review your health, needs, and care
Service Description
In-person follow-up Chinese herbal care consultations usually last around 30–45 minutes and take place at the clinic in Baule. We begin with a conversation about how you have been since taking your previous formula, any changes in your symptoms or general wellbeing, and what you would like support with now. This consultation is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I use discussion, health history, tongue observation, and pulse observation where appropriate to understand your current presentation and prepare a personalised herbal formula. Your herbal formula is individualised and may change over time as your presentation evolves. Changes are often gradual, and the aim is to support internal balance and overall wellbeing. Please keep me updated about any current health conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies, recent surgery, infections, medication, supplements, teas, or traditional remedies you use. Please also let me know promptly about any changes in your health, medication, or supplements while taking herbs. Consultation fees and herbal formulas are billed separately. The consultation fee is paid directly to Chemin Holistique and includes your consultation, assessment, and the preparation of your personalised herbal formula. Herbal formulas are paid directly to the supplier. As a guide, a 4-week formula usually costs around €65–€80 plus postage for clients in Europe, or £30–£45 plus postage for clients in the UK. The final cost may vary depending on the formula, dosage, supplier pricing, packaging, and delivery location. After your first consultation and initial two-week herbal supply, a four-week formula may be suitable. However, this depends on your individual situation, and some conditions benefit from shorter review intervals — for example, skin conditions or presentations that are more sensitive or changeable. Please book your follow-up before you finish your current course, so your formula can be reviewed and adjusted if needed. Chinese herbal care is offered as a complementary, non-medical wellbeing practice. It does not replace medical diagnosis, conventional medical care, or treatment prescribed by your doctor. Please continue all medical care unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
Booking & Practice Policy
Please read this before requesting an appointment. All bookings are reviewed manually. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. Online booking requests close 24 hours before the appointment time. For same-day or short-notice enquiries, please contact me by email or text message. Payment for in-person sessions is made at the beginning of the appointment by cash, card, or bank transfer. You can change, cancel, or reschedule your appointment online up to 24 hours before your appointment time. After this time, please contact me directly. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a partial or full session fee. Please arrive no earlier than 5–10 minutes before your appointment. I do not have a waiting area. If you arrive late, I may not be able to extend your session. The full session fee still applies, even if the treatment time is shortened. Please let me know before your session if there have been any significant changes to your health, medication, pregnancy status, injuries, surgery, or ongoing medical care. If you feel unwell, especially with a fever, contagious illness, or infection, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
