A 1 hr 30 min follow-up acupuncture session and herbal review consultation to continue your care
Service Description
Please note: Follow-up sessions are for existing clients only. If you are new to Chemin Holistique, please book an initial session first. Integrated care follow-up sessions include both acupuncture and a herbal review and usually last around 1 hr 30 min. We begin by reviewing how you have been since your previous session, including any changes in your symptoms, digestion, sleep, energy, mood, medication, supplements, or general wellbeing. Your acupuncture treatment and herbal formula may be adjusted according to your current presentation and how you are responding. Fine, sterile, single-use needles are gently inserted at selected points. Your session may also include moxibustion, cupping, or Gua Sha where appropriate. Please let me know promptly about any changes in your health, medication, pregnancy status, injuries, infections, or supplements while receiving integrated care. Herbal formulas are billed separately, and payment for herbs is made directly to the herbal supplier. Depending on your progress, later formulas may be provided for around four weeks, followed by reviews every four weeks. Some people may benefit from shorter review intervals, especially if their condition is sensitive, changeable, or requires closer monitoring — for example, some skin conditions. Integrated care is offered as a complementary, non-medical wellbeing approach. It does not replace medical diagnosis, conventional medical care, or treatment prescribed by your doctor. Please continue all medical care unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
Booking & Practice Policy
Please read this before requesting an appointment. All bookings are reviewed manually. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. Online booking requests close 24 hours before the appointment time. For same-day or short-notice enquiries, please contact me by email or text message. Payment for in-person sessions is made at the beginning of the appointment by cash, card, or bank transfer. You can change, cancel, or reschedule your appointment online up to 24 hours before your appointment time. After this time, please contact me directly. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a partial or full session fee. Please arrive no earlier than 5–10 minutes before your appointment. I do not have a waiting area. If you arrive late, I may not be able to extend your session. The full session fee still applies, even if the treatment time is shortened. Please let me know before your session if there have been any significant changes to your health, medication, pregnancy status, injuries, surgery, or ongoing medical care. If you feel unwell, especially with a fever, contagious illness, or infection, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
